Dwell on four things — spiritual life, family, work and physical fitness — for good balance.

"If you think about these things routinely and try to make them central to your life, this makes you more successful and happy," Stabler said. "It will make you less likely to crash and burn."

As Northrop Grumman Newport News’ vice president in charge of the George H.W. Bush carrier construction, the biggest job project now underway at the yard, Stabler advises his management team and workers not to let the job crowd out everything else.

Here on OpEdNEws, I haven't seen one single article supporting Hillary. It's not because we haven't accepted them. Matter of fact we welcome cogent, well written articles supporting ANY candidate, since we trust our readers to respond and balance out the perspective in the comments section.

It appears that the concensus of the readers and writers on this site, most of whom were Kucinich, Edwards or Paul supporters, are, except for the Paul supporters, now leaning towards Obama. .

Uranium boom hits home for small Colo. town

NUNN, Colo. -- Jean Hediger can stand at the edge of her organic wheat farm and look west to the Rockies, east toward this speck-in-the-road town and straight ahead into what she sees as her worst nightmare.A Canadian company's plans to establish a uranium mine just across the two-lane county road from Hediger's farm has triggered a bitter tug-of-war with residents of this fast-growing region about 70 miles north of Denver who fear the risk of contaminated water and other health problems. "How do you farm organically next to a uranium mine?" Hediger asks. "It's pretty darned scary, isn't it?"Powertech Uranium Corp. Chief Executive Officer Richard Clement insists the firm's closed-system mining process, in which a solution of oxygen and sodium bicarbonate is injected to recover the uranium, is safe."There's a lot of misinformation out there about nuclear, about uranium, about radiation, about the effects of mining," he said.

Bob Ford: Villanova confident after UConn win

Perhaps that is all that happened yesterday, and the final sorting at the Big East tournament in two weeks will shuffle out the Wildcats in quick fashion. Playing small - depending entirely on defense and jump shots - is a long walk through the valley of death, even if you fear no evil. But it's a lot better to have someone like Connecticut's 7-foot-3 Hasheem Thabeet walking beside you.

Still, anything is possible. When Villanova was in the midst of losing nine of 12 games and the rest of the local teams didn't seem to be NCAA tournament-worthy, either, this loomed as perhaps the first season since 1976-77 in which none of the six area Division I schools would make the big bracket.

That's reaching a long way back, almost before Rollie Massimino invented the game, and it could still happen.
